# SumizAI vs Hello AI

Looking for a Hello AI alternative? SumizAI and Hello AI side by side: price, licence, platforms and what each one actually does.

## What Hello AI is

Introducing the ultimate chatbot app - Hello AI, the most advanced language model on the planet! Say goodbye to clunky, generic chatbots and hello to personalized, intuitive conversations that feel like you're talking to a real person. The application comes from Portugal, within the European Union, is entirely free, available on Mac, iPhone, and iPad.

Key features and functionality:

The emphasis on personalized, intuitive conversations sets Hello AI apart from "clunky, generic chatbots" - the app positions itself as offering a more natural, user-tailored conversational experience. The promise that conversation "feels like talking to a real person" underscores the emphasis on interaction quality and naturalness as a core product value, going beyond purely functional question-answering. Availability exclusively on the Apple ecosystem - Mac, iPhone, and iPad - means a consistent experience regardless of which device the user is using at a given moment. Marketing positioning as "the most advanced language model on the planet" signals the app's ambitious aspirations, though actual model quality requires individual assessment by the user.

Who it's for:

Hello AI is aimed primarily at Apple ecosystem users looking for a chatbot offering a more natural, personalized conversational experience than standard, generic conversational tools. People tired of clunky, mechanical-sounding answers typical of basic chatbots appreciate Hello AI's emphasis on interaction intuitiveness and naturalness. Users switching between a Mac, iPhone, and iPad throughout the day value the consistent experience available across the whole Apple ecosystem. People who value free access to an advanced chatbot, without needing to pay for more elaborate commercial platforms, find in Hello AI an accessible solution.

Use cases:

A user looking for natural, engaging conversation instead of mechanical, templated answers uses Hello AI on their iPhone throughout the day. Someone switching between Apple devices during the day continues the same conversation on their Mac at work and their iPad at home, keeping a consistent experience. A user testing different AI chatbots compares Hello AI's personalization and naturalness against more generic, mechanical alternatives. Someone looking for a free, advanced chatbot with no hidden costs chooses Hello AI as an accessible solution within the Apple ecosystem.

Pricing and business model:

Hello AI is entirely free, with no paid subscription tier whatsoever, lowering the barrier to entry to zero for any Apple user interested in trying this app. This model may stem from an alternative source of funding for the app, not directly tied to user fees for access to core conversational functionality.

Comparison with SumizAI:

Hello AI and SumizAI offer different approaches to conversing with artificial intelligence. Hello AI focuses on personalized, natural conversation resembling talking with a real person, available exclusively on Apple devices. SumizAI, by contrast, is a platform aggregating multiple different AI providers at once, enabling answers to the same question to be compared, accessible from any operating system. An Apple user who values conversation naturalness and personalization might choose Hello AI, while people wanting to compare answers from multiple AI models will naturally reach for SumizAI.

AI notes from natural conversations:

Hello AI users often save the most interesting fragments of personalized conversations as ai notes in a separate knowledge management app, treating the chatbot's natural tone as an invitation to a longer, more exploratory exchange. Thanks to Hello AI's availability across multiple Apple devices, users can add such ai notes regardless of which hardware they happen to be using - a phone on the go or a computer at home. Hello AI's free nature means building an extensive ai notes base through regular, personalized conversations carries no additional cost for the user. The chatbot's natural, intuitive tone also makes creating further these notes a more pleasant experience than with more mechanical, generic conversational tools.

## What SumizAI is

A note-taking application built around a conversation with an AI model. You ask a question, the answer streams back, and the answers worth keeping become Markdown notes — filed into a vault that is a folder on your own disk.

A vault is a directory holding `base.md`, a generated table of contents up to six levels deep, and a `notes/` folder with one `.md` file per note. Before a note is written it is checked against the ones already there, so the fourth note about the same idea gets merged instead of added. Links between notes are ordinary Markdown links to files that exist.

The model is never ours: you bring your own API key to one of seven providers — Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, a local Ollama or your own server — and pay that provider directly. A question sends the table of contents plus at most five relevant notes within a 24,000-character budget, and the app shows you which five it used.

## Where they differ

- Hello AI is a place to have the conversation. SumizAI is not a chatbot — the conversation is the input, not the product. What comes out of it is a `.md` file with a title, a place in `base.md` and a duplicate check against the notes already in the vault. If you only want to talk to a model, you do not need SumizAI.
- Hello AI is free and SumizAI costs a dollar a month after a seven-day trial that takes no card. A dollar is what it costs to run accounts and licences without reselling the model; if free is the requirement, Hello AI wins that row outright.
- AlternativeTo's description of Hello AI does not mention Markdown, so check what format your notes end up in before you fill it up. SumizAI writes standard `.md` files to a folder you picked, and an unpaid account can still export all of them.
- Both are run from the EU: SumizAI's operator is registered in Poland and the servers are in Germany.
